A placement year is great opportunity to put the skills developed during your degree into practice. This insight into the professional world will build on your knowledge in a real-world setting, setting you up to progress onto your chosen career.
Previous students have taken up placements in the private, public and not-for-profit sectors, including some international posts, with major companies – and have often landed permanent jobs with those companies even before they graduate.
This month, the Faculty of Arts, Design and Humanities Placements Team is here to tell you all about the huge range of placements on offer, and how you can use their help to hone your professional skills with mock interviews and practice aptitude tests, and land your ideal placement.
