Are You Okay?

Are You Okay? partnership banner between De Montfort University and De Montfort Students' Union

We know that this year has been an exceptional one for our students, so we have joined forces with De Montfort Students’ Union (DSU) to support its ‘Are You Okay?’ campaign. We want to let you know that we are here, we are listening and we want to support you as much as we can to have the best student experience possible while you’re with us.

Over the next couple of months and beyond, we will be showcasing some of the support DMU and DSU can offer for you. Each week we will focus on a different theme, including:

  • HealthyDMU
  • DSU (including sports and societies)
  • Teaching and Learning
  • Friendship and community

We’ll be letting you know more about each theme through both DMU and DSU’s social media channels, all user emails and items on our student webpages so make sure you take a look regularly. We will also be running some competitions with iPads as prizes (terms and conditions apply).

Your voice is important

Student feedback is crucial to both DMU and DSU as it helps make us aware of what is important to you, what works well and what doesn’t. There are many ways that you can let us know your thoughts and suggestions and we encourage all of our students to take the time to do this as it could positively impact your own student experience and that of other students.

DSU will be running the Are You Okay? survey throughout this academic year.

Share your feedback

You can provide feedback to us by:

  • Ensuring you take the time to complete our regular student surveys, including the Module Level Feedback survey and the National Student Survey.
  • Getting in touch with your Course Rep with any ideas or suggestions you might have about your course.
  • Contacting your DSU Executive Officer team. They’re there to represent you to the university so make sure your voice is heard.

Remember, if you don’t let us know your thoughts and feedback then we won’t know what is important to you.
