Please ensure you read all the information on our web pages carefully - you MUST EMAIL YOUR EVIDENCE otherwise we will not log receipt of your application form. Students are submitting an application form but not sending in the required evidence, then chasing up their assessments. The 4-week turnaround starts from the date your evidence is submitted (not your form). We will not start an assessment until we have ALL of your evidence. Thank you.
We are currently still working on a backlog of applications, which we are working hard to process as soon as possible. If you are experiencing a financial crisis, such as facing eviction, please book in to a 15-minute 'Quick Query' appointment via MyGateway for further advice.
The DMU Support Fund is designed to assist with general living and course-related costs. It cannot be used for delays with your student funding or to pay tuition fees, support 'lifestyle choices' or as a replacement for statutory benefits.
The Fund relies on money provided by the University to help students who are facing genuine and unavoidable financial hardship. It will be reviewed at the end of each term, which may impact the way we assess future applications. This is to ensure we maintain sufficient funds throughout the academic year.
