Lockdown update

Since the last DMUsport update in December 2020, England has entered into a National lockdown with the advice to Stay at Home.

As a result, DMUactive are unable to deliver face-to-face sport activity until at least mid-February. There is no certain date when restrictions will be lifted, and all sport and leisure indoor and outdoor facilities are closed.

In the meantime, we want to continue to help the DMU community to stay active and look after their wellbeing so have developed a virtual offer that is open to all DMU staff and students. You can take a look at what is on offer on our DMUactive page.

If you have any questions regarding this please email sports@dmu.ac.uk.

Sports Club Membership

Can't see your sport or anything that interests you?

If you would like to get involved by starting your own student sports club, then that is entirely possible here at DMU.

To get things started, you simply need to complete this registration of interest form and a member of the Student's Union Activities team will be in touch to help you begin the process of setting up your new student group.

You will want to consider if an existing group exists already so best to also check out the societies listings page.
