Tennis at DMU provides court opportunities for all abilities, from recreational play and fast-growing racket sports to competitive university leagues.

Did you know: Our Tennis DMUteam has a development squad, so you don't need to have competed before to get involved!

DMUactive - Free, fun, recreational sport

  • Free for all students with all equipment provided.

  • Casual sport offering with drop-in court sessions.

  • Includes Mystery Sessions such as Pickleball. Mystery sessions are a chance to try a sport that isn’t usually part of DMUactive. They reveal themselves on the leisure app a week before they take place.

DMUlearn2 - Learn a new sport
  • Free coached beginner courses covering serving, groundstroke technique, and game scoring across term-time blocks.

DMUcampus - Internal competitions & tournaments

  • Campus tournaments and social leagues.

  • Includes Pickleball social events.

  • Enter as an individual or with friends/societies.

DMUteam - Train, compete & represent the university

  • Train, compete, and represent DMU in BUCS league fixtures.

  • Features a dedicated development squad for aspiring competitors.

  • Selection Sessions are held throughout the year.

  • Specialized Strength & Conditioning (S&C) support included.

  • Annual club membership fee applies via the DMU Leisure App / DSU.
