Futsal at DMU is a fast-paced indoor variation of football played with a heavier, low-bounce ball. There are 5 players on each team. It emphasizes tactics, technique and close ball control on hard indoor courts.

DMUactive - Free, fun, recreational sport

  • Free for all students with all equipment provided.

  • Casual, drop-in indoor court games and social play.

  • Includes special events such as free UV Glow-in-the-Dark Futsal tournaments.

DMUcampus - Internal competitions & tournaments

  • Fast-paced on-campus tournaments and Summer Series leagues.

  • Enter as a squad with course mates, flatmates or societies. Alternatively you can enter solo to be matched with a team.

DMUteam - Train, compete & represent the university

  • Train, compete, and represent DMU in competitive BUCS futsal leagues, national cup competitions and Varsity.

  • Regular coached court sessions with dedicated Strength & Conditioning (S&C) support.

  • Selection Sessions held throughout the year—message the team directly on social media.

  • Annual club membership fee applies via the DMU Leisure App / DSU.
