Dodgeball at DMU is a team sport centered on strategy, throwing accuracy, and quick reflexes. It is one of the most accessible and fun sports on campus, welcoming novices and seasoned competitors alike.

Did you know: You do not need any prior experience to join competitive dodgeball at DMU—our club develops players from complete beginners to tournament level!

DMUactive - Free, fun, recreational sport
  • Free for all students with all balls and equipment provided.

  • Casual sport offering with fast-paced drop-in matches.

  • Features as part of our exciting Mystery Sessions. These offer a chance to try a sport that isn’t usually part of DMUactive. They reveal themselves a week before they take place and can also be booked on the leisure app.

DMUcampus - Internal competitions & tournaments

  • Campus tournaments and Summer Series events.

  • Apply individually or team up with friends, course mates, halls, or societies for intramural dodgeball fixtures.

DMUteam - Train, compete & represent the university

  • Train, compete, and represent DMU in university tournaments, national championships and Varsity.

  • No experience necessary to join the club and get involved.

  • Structured training sessions with competitive match play.

  • Annual club membership fee applies via the DMU Leisure App / DSU.
