Galop provide support to LGBT+ people who are affected by domestic violence and other forms of abuse. Call 0800 9995428 to speak to an adviser.

If you are experiencing Honour Based Abuse, are being controlled by your family or are facing a forced marriage, Karma Nirvana can help. Call their helpline on 0800 5999247 Monday to Friday 9-5. In an emergency, always call 999.

If you are registered with another GP, please contact them instead.

In an emergency you can call 999 or go to A&E at the Leicester Royal Infirmary.

Mental Health Central Access Point                   Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust has launched a dedicated mental health Central Access Point phone line so that people of all ages in Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland can access urgent NHS mental health support directly.

The helpline number is 0808 800 3302 or, alternatively, you can email leicestershire.helpline@turning-point.co.uk. Please note that calls are not answered by medical staff, and they will not have access to your patient notes.

Turning Point Turning point is a service offered to anyone who is affected by drugs or alcohol and wants support to make change. They offer a variety of treatment options and will support you to find the right treatment for you. Regardless of your age, they have a service which will meet your needs. For young people up to 24, the dedicated young people’s team will work with you in any location that is suitable.
