Help shape the future of Green Skills in UK higher education

DMU is taking part in a national project to better understand the role that learning 'Green Skills' should play in higher education.

Staff, students or professionals with an interest in these issues outside the university are invited to join a workshop session to learn more and share your thoughts with others.

Why take part:

  • Make a lasting difference to the future of green skills in higher education
  • Learn about the latest green skills frameworks and how they relate to taught courses
  • Network with employers, staff, and students engaged with these issues
  • Earn a £15 Love2Shop voucher

This opportunity is open to staff and students from all subject areas. Participating students should be beyond their first year of undergraduate study, or undertaking postgraduate study (taught or research).

Where and when:

  • Wednesday 21 January 2026  (2-4pm, online), or
  • Wednesday 4 February 2026 (10am-12pm, in-person at DMU or online)
