Sustainability Advocates Programme

The Sustainability Advocates project is a platform for students to make a sustainable difference on climate change, social justice, care for nature or otherwise at DMU.

A wise man once said, “The secret of change is to focus all of your energy not on fighting the old, but on building the new.”

Students will become champions for change. Advocates learn about sustainability, network with other students and staff, contribute to projects and get recognition for their efforts through a DMU Award and on their HEAR Certificate.

Joining the Sustainability Advocates is an amazing way to be the change you want to see and to build on something new for a better tomorrow. Any student can join the team! Be passionate about the Sustainable Development Goals and have a willingness to learn and help others.

For more information on joining, visit the Education for the Sustainable Development Goals website or send an email with your details (name, email and PNumber) to sustainability@dmu.ac.uk or come along to the Sustainability Advocates launch session in Hugh Aston 2.42 at 2pm On Wednesday 26 October.
