Cost of living – have your say in new survey

A new national survey is asking students how the rising living costs being seen across the country are affecting them.

The Office for National Statistics (ONS) wants to hear from you about the impact higher prices is having on you and your time at university.

The Cost of Living Insights Survey takes about 15 minutes but the results will give the ONS a vital insight into what the biggest issues facing students are right now and, as a consequence, will be used by the Department for Education to help shape future policy.

Follow these steps to take part:

1 - Go to https://studies.ons.gov.uk/s/StudentCostofLivingStudyW01/ on your computer, smartphone or tablet.

2 - Complete the study.

3 - Click 'Finish survey'.

The deadline for taking part is 4 November and taking part is voluntary. If you don’t want to answer some or any of the questions, you don’t have to.

This study is confidential. ONS (and any of its partners) will collect information from participants of this study purely for statistical purposes and will keep that information confidential in accordance with all relevant legislation and the Code of Practice for Statistics.  Accordingly, your university will not have access to the information you provide in this survey.
