DMU launches new initiative to support student mental wellbeing


DMU, working with DSU, has led on the development of a new free resource to support student mental wellbeing.

Funded by the Quality Assurance Agency (QAA), it focuses on the best mental wellbeing resources on topics such as how to help students with exam stress and building confidence in approaching work placements.

Zoë Allman, Associate Dean (Academic) for CEM, said she hoped the free resources would raise the profile of work already been done, and inspire more activities that help address and support mental wellbeing.

Teams across DMU have also contributed by sharing examples of projects that have focused on student wellbeing both in teaching and as part of the student experience.
