Join De Montfort Students’ Union (DSU) and the Mandala Project on Wednesday 7 February for the 7th annual Light the Night walk at DMU.
Coinciding with Sexual Abuse and Sexual Violence Awareness Week, the walk is an opportunity to show support for victims of sexual violence around the world and to demonstrate DMU’s commitment to creating a safe and inclusive community.
The walk will begin at Mill Lane bridge at 6pm, moving to Leicester Town Hall. Here, you can share your commitment towards promoting respect before walking back to campus for some refreshments at the Campus Centre.
Ahead of the walk, you'll have the chance to make a placard at a DSU Craftivism event (details TBC).
On the night, why not paint your face or bring a torch to help light up the night.
