A local charity, Reaching People, is on a mission to gather unwanted tech equipment, refurbish it and distribute it to people and organisations in our community who need them.
The DMU Engagement team is hosting an event on campus on Wednesday 21 February for you to hear from young people who’ve benefited from the digital donation scheme, try your hand at refurbishing technology, find out how to get involved as a Reaching People volunteer – and enjoy a free pizza lunch!
Book your place and come to Bede House, room 0.48, from midday to 2pm.
You can also bring any of your old or unused technology to donate (although this is not a requirement). Sign up with your friends or come along to meet people – no previous experience necessary.
