In the first of the inaugural series of the Bishop of Leicester's Chaplaincy Lectures on Thursday 14 March, guest speaker Bishop Sarah Mulally will explore the role of the church in the health and wellbeing of communities.
Looking through the lens of shalom, she will ask how might faith communities engage well with healthcare providers, particularly in addressing the health inequalities endemic in society in our times?
There will be time for Q&A with Bishop Sarah, and refreshments will be available after the lecture.
Time and place: Thursday 14 March, 6–7.30pm, St Andrews Church, Jarrom Street, Leicester.

Dame Sarah Mulally has been Bishop of London since 2018, and is the first woman to hold that position. From 1999 to 2004, she was Chief Nursing Officer for England and the National Health Service's director of patient experience for England. In the 2005 New Year Honours, Mullally received a DBE in recognition for her contribution to nursing and midwifery
St Andrew’s at Jarrom Street is on the edge of the DMU campus and close to the Leicester Royal Infirmary. It has a ramped entrance, accessible toilet, and hearing (induction) loop.
