DMU has an amazing new immersive virtual reality experience in the Careers Hub, called Bodyswaps, which allows you to practise and develop a range of skills and boost confidence ahead of entering the professional world.
Virtual reality provides a safe space for you to practise demonstrating empathy without judgement. You have the opportunity to experience how you came across from another person’s perspective and receive personalised feedback on their responses.
The skills that you can develop on the VR headset include:

To use the Bodyswaps VR modules you can either book a slot via the appointments section on MyGateway or drop in to the Careers Hub (Hugh Aston 0.82/0.83) anytime between 10am–3pm, Monday–Friday.
