Improve your public speaking, communication and leadership skills with the Leicester Leaders Speakers Club


Are you afraid of public speaking? Does the idea of speaking in front of people make you sweat? Do you want to improve your leadership and communication skills? Joining the Leicester Leaders Speakers Club can help!

From January, the club will begin running evening sessions twice a month in The Venue@DMU, hosted by Toastmasters International. It is open for anyone to join and designed to support you in your public-speaking journey, no matter what role you have.

It’s great for those who have a fear of speaking in public or for those who simply want to develop the structure of their speech.

What is Toastmasters International?

Toastmasters International is a non-profit educational organisation that teaches public speaking, communication and leadership skills through a worldwide network of clubs. It offers a friendly and safe environment for members to practise and receive feedback on their speeches.

Starting from Thursday 12 January, the club will run every second and fourth Thursday of the month at 7.30pm in The Venue@DMU, Conference Room 1.

The first two meetings are free!
