The British Science Association is currently recruiting Festival Assistants for the British Science Festival 2022, hosted by DMU.
The team are looking for a number of enthusiastic individuals with a variety of different skills to support and run the exciting programme of events at this year's festival, running from Tuesday 13 – Saturday 17 September.
The paid roles, available for approximately 30-35 individuals, are:
- Festival Ambassador
- Building Manager
- Event Assistant
- AV/IT Assistant
Successful applicants must be available for training days (Thursday 8 and Friday 9 September for Building Managers, Friday 9 September only for Festival Assistants).
Assistants will be paid £9.90/hour, and Building Managers £10.90/hour. Hours will vary depending on the role.
You will be based around the DMU campus and/or Leicester City Centre.
The deadline for applications is 11.59pm on Monday 20 June 2022.
