The Lord-Lieutenant of Leicestershire, Michael Kapur OBE, invites you to celebrate the Platinum Jubilee of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee marks 70 years of service from 1952–2022.
To celebrate, some of the best local dance performers will take part in Dance for the Queen at Jubilee Square from 6.30pm on Wednesday 1 June.
Seven dance groups have each choreographed a stunning dance routine to a medley of iconic music tracks from the seven decades of the Queen’s reign.
The performance will take place to a backdrop of Royal pictures from the last 70 years - including many of Her Majesty’s hugely popular visits to Leicester.
