Graduation

Our Summer graduation ceremonies will take place from Monday 22 to Saturday 27 August inclusive.  Full details of Faculty and course-specific splits and how to book your place will be published on the graduations webpage in April.

The ceremonies in August are for students who:

  • Would have attended the ceremonies of January 2021 which were postponed due to Covid.
  • Have successfully passed all elements of their course between the dates from 27 November 2021 and 1 July 2022.  These are strict deadlines - any student who passes after this date will be eligible to attend the graduation ceremonies in Winter 2023.

Invitations will be emailed to all students by mid-April; the email invitation will be sent to both your DMU alumni email address and any personal email address you’ve registered on the university’s student records system. Please make sure you check your junk settings.

Your Higher Education Achievement Report

Higher Education Achievement Reports (HEAR) for both finalists and progressing students will be available to view and share from Thursday 24 March.

This report is an electronic document of your official academic transcript of your study at DMU. It confirms your registration with us, the start and end dates of your programme, overall results, module results and any additional information that you may have accomplished. This is stamped with the university seal.

Please see the following link for more information on the HEAR. As a verified and secure way of documenting your achievements, this will provide the evidence that you require and can be shared with employers, government agencies or universities. This should be used while you are waiting for your certificate to be issued to you.
