Shape Our Future is our consultation process for developing a new strategy for DMU.
Our strategic plan will be created by our community and we encourage everyone to actively participate.

New discussion forums and questionnaires
We are pleased to tell you that the online discussion forums and questionnaires are now open.
There is one Microsoft Teams forum dedicated to each of the four themes of the consultation:
- Our Future Learning
- Our Students
- Our Focus
- Our Impact
We have put together a Busy Person’s Guide, which explains how to join each of these groups via MS Teams.
These forums are visible to staff and students at DMU. They are an opportunity to start or join a discussion on any of the above themes.
As with Teams in general, anything you post in the groups is not anonymous. We have also prepared a set of rules and guidelines for using the forums.
Alternatively, you can put down your suggestions in any of our four confidential online questionnaires:
In contrast to virtual workshops and MS Teams forums, DMU will not collect your name or other identifying personal information on these survey forms. There are more details at the start of each form and in the Busy Person’s Guide.
Students will also be able to participate in workshops via DSU zones and council meetings over the next few weeks so keep a look out on their communications channels.
