Prayer Rooms and Chapel Update

From Monday 5 July 2021 DMU Prayer Rooms & Chapel are open when our Imam is on campus to support users between Monday to Friday from 10am until 2pm when the university is open.

The capacity and opening hours of our spaces have been reduced to ensure we comply with social distancing rules in line with government guidance. There will be no ablution facilities available.

Our Imam is on hand to support users to access the space safely and to ensure that social distancing guidelines are adhered to in the prayer rooms as outlined below.

DMU staff and students should participate in twice weekly Covid testing if they are on campus for any reason. For more information on how to book a Covid test visit DMU Safety.
