Taiko drumming is an ancient Japanese Art form that’s highly accessible and easy to pick up. It makes for a great physical exercise as well as mental relaxation, through focussing on the rhythm of the drums.

DMU Taiko includes staff and students from DMU alongside members of the local community.

Weekly workshops are held every Wednesday from 5 – 6pm, and are led by the expert team at Bullfrog Arts.

Workshops are open to all staff, students and members of the community.

Contact music@dmu.ac.uk if you’re interested in signing up for next term.
