Spotlight on: Digital Skills

This week, we’re highlighting the wide range of support and guidance available to our students from Digital Partners.

Digital Skills 560

Digital Partners are available to all DMU students to support you with skills in MS365, Learning Technologies, accessing DMU systems, Assistive Technology, IT skills and more, no matter your level of digital capability.

If you’re in need of assistance to enable you to get to grips with O365 (including Word, Excel or PowerPoint), Outlook and your student email, MS Teams or OneDrive, the team are on hand to help.

Support is also available at the touch of a button for assistive technologies including mind-mapping, note-taking and two-way text/speech conversions, as well as learning technologies such as Blackboard and DMU Replay.

On top of this, the service offers online workshops and resources, tutorials and weekly LibChat sessions, as well as access to LinkedIn Learning.

You can find out more by exploring the Digital Skills hub or by following DMU Library & Learning on Twitter.

If you’ve been helped by our Digital Partners during your time at DMU, we’d love to hear about your experiences – feel free to post, tweet or message us and tag @LibraryDMU.
