DMU Centralised Loans

DMU's centralised AV Loans service provides loans of audiovisual equipment to students and staff. This provides an extensive kit store, designed to cover the full range of needs of DMU's faculties, available for checkout throughout the opening hours of the university. For composers and audio researchers, this provides a far larger number and range of portable recorders, microphones, and supporting equipment than a single department could provide. Similarly, audiovisual researchers can benefit from a large collection of specialist video cameras, cranes, lights, reflectors and related equipment.

Of particular interest to MTIRL users are an Olympus LS-100 Multi-Track Recorder, Zoom F8 Eight Channel Field Recorder/Mixer, and a Neumann K100 binaural recording head.
