Following the success of the last Your DMU Community week, we’re pleased to announce that the fun-packed week of activities will be back from Monday 27 April – Friday 1 May 2026.
There are activities for everyone taking place in the Food Village, the Kimberlin Library, the Campus Centre, and more!
Here’s just a small selection of activities you can take part in each day:
Monday 27 April:
11am–3pm: Lawn Games Head to the Lawns for fresh air, friendly competition, and plenty of laughs.
5pm–6pm: DMUactive Lacrosse The Watershed A free, bookable session to try out lacrosse in a supportive environment.
Tuesday 28 April:
7.15am–8am: DMUsport Kettlebell Class QEII Leisure Centre Start your morning strong with a high‑energy kettlebell workout.
11.30am–1.30pm: Ice Cream Demonstrations Outside the Food Village Watch live ice‑cream making and sample fresh creations
12pm–2pm: Paint Your Own Plate Workshop Food Village A relaxed creative session led by StudionAme artists—materials provided.
Wednesday 29 April:
11am–2pm: Bungee Run Lawns Strap in and sprint—competitive, hilarious, and heart‑pumping fun.
11am–2pm: Candyfloss & Slush Outside Food Village Enjoy free sweet treats and a nostalgic pick‑me‑up.
Thursday 30 April:
12pm–2pm: Meet the Alpacas Outside the Food Village Spend time with friendly alpacas—perfect for a midday mood boost.
2pm–2.50pm: Healthy DMU Masterclass – Resilience & Bounce Back Online
Friday 1 May:
11am–3pm: Lawn Games Lawns A relaxed way to round off the week with friends.
5.30pm–7.30pm: DMUactive Indoor Football (Futsal) The Watershed
