The annual travel survey is now live. It’s your chance to play a part in our journey to make DMU as sustainable as possible in the future.
What is the Travel Survey?
DMU conducts an annual Travel Survey to help us understand current staff and student travel behaviours, and to learn more about the best ways we can support you when travelling to campus.
The survey is your chance to tell us what is working well for you and where you think additional support or focus is needed. We would like the survey to be fully representative in terms of travel types, so we are interested in your opinions regardless of the type of transport you currently use to commute to the university.
The information provided through the survey is also used to calculate the carbon footprint associated with staff and student commuting to DMU that is related to DMU's Scope 3 emissions.
It also contributes to our role as chair of United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 11, Sustainable Cities and Communities.
Not only does the survey contribute to our future sustainability, but there’s also the chance for you to win a £100 shopping voucher just for taking part. Terms and conditions can be found here.https://www.dmu.ac.uk/general/survey-ts-cs.aspx
Where can I complete the survey?
You can find a link to the survey here. It only takes around five minutes to complete. If you have any questions, please contact sustainability@dmu.ac.uk
The results of this data will be posted on the university website and included in the Travel Plan Progress Report, which is submitted to Leicester City Council. Aggregated data may also be used for publishing in respected peer-reviewed scientific journals and in presentations to relevant parties. No individual data will be revealed and all responses will be treated as confidential. If you do not wish your data to be used in this way then please contact sustainability@dmu.ac.uk.
