Join a two-minute silence to mark Remembrance Day on Wednesday

The university will observe a two-minute silence at 11am on Wednesday 11 November to remember the deaths and sacrifices of those who served in the two world wars and in other conflicts since.

Instead of gathering in person, this year staff and students are invited to join us for an online presentation.

The event will begin at approximately 10.55am with an address from Interim Vice-Chancellor, Professor Andy Collop, a performance of The Last Post by a bugle player recorded especially at Trinity House for DMU, the two-minute silence and then another bugle call, The Reveille.

Anyone can watch live via the DMU digital events webpage or on our YouTube and Facebook pages.
