Has your society raised money for a charity? Have you made a difference as a Course Rep?
DSU Celebrates is an awards evening open to all students at De Montfort University, run by De Montfort Students’ Union (DSU).
The event will take place at the King Power Stadium at 7pm on Friday 27 March and will comprise of a three-course meal, awards and entertainment - and a celebration of your year at university!
You can nominate yourself, a friend or student group for nine awards which will be presented on the night:
- Community Impact Award
- Fundraising Award
- Best New Student Group Award
- Student Group of the Year
- Course Rep of the Year
- Personality of the Year
- Best Performance Society
- Inspirational Change of the Year
- Inclusion Award.

Kieran King, Chair of the Demon Theatre society, who went to the awards last year, said: “DSU Celebrates encapsulates everything amazing about DMU.
“Myself and my committee were lucky enough to receive the Society of the Year award which was an honour to receive. I cannot wait to see what this year has to bring!”
Tickets to the event cost £25 and can be purchased on the DSU website. There are limited tickets available so don’t miss out!
