Are you looking for an opportunity to make a difference at university?

Nominations are open for the Course Representative and Student Group Committee elections run by De Montfort Students' Union (DSU). All roles begin in September 2020 in the new academic year.

What is a Course Rep?  

Course Reps engage with their peers and provide feedback to academics about their course to represent students' interests. They form the essential link between students and their lecturers at university. 

As a Course Rep, you can gain valuable communication, leadership and employability skills by attending meetings across the university and using your student voice.

What is Student Group Committee role? 

As a Committee Member in a student group you will help make university an unforgettable experience for students. You will recieve full training from DSU to fulfil whichever role you choose to run for. You can find out more about being a student leader on the DSU website.

The volunteering hours you gain as a Course Rep and in a Student Group Committeewill contribute to your Higher Education Achievement Report (HEAR) that you receive when you graduate.

Nominations are open until Friday 3 April and voting is open from Wednesday 15 April at 12 noon to Friday 24 April at 11.59pm
