Beaumont Park is situated on the outskirts of Leicester, which has recently seen £3.4 million worth of investment. Home to the DMU Football, Rugby, Lacrosse and American Football. The venue also boasts FA standard grass and artificial pitches as well as a recently extended and refurbished clubhouse.

The eight court sports hall enables a varied programme of activities to be on offer to our members and paying guests throughout the day with the following sports available to users of the centre:
- 5-a-side football
- Basketball
- Badminton
- Table tennis
- Netball
- Volleyball
- Short tennis
Booking times
Use of the sports hall is free for some members and is competitively priced for all others though booking is essential.
Booking slots are available:
- Monday to Friday 6.30am-10pm
- Saturday 8am-8pm
- Sunday 9am-8pm
Courts can be booked by members six days in advance of play and by non members one day in advance.
All non-member sessions must be paid for at the point of booking. Members are allowed to book courts and classes on-line but will be charged the external fee rate should they not attend the booking. All court bookings are currently for 45 minutes unless stated otherwise. This allows time for set up of equipment between sessions.
Back-to-back bookings are not permitted, it is not permissible to book two courts at the same time.
During term time there is limited availability to the sports hall due to student sports teams using the space as a training venue.
Members can manage their sports hall bookings through our online booking system.
Equipment hire
You can hire equipment for any activity you wish to play (ask at the leisure centre for details). The cost is £1.50 per item, unless otherwise stated. Non members can hire equipment also but must pay the hire fee.
Parties and special events
For events and activities which fall outside the normal are usage for external hire more information is required to give an accurate price. Contact us to register interest and a member of the team will get back to you shortly to discuss your booking requirements
The Watershed is situated on Liberty Island and home to DMU Sport and the DMU Rowing Club. We have invested in the facility to offer additional space for DMU's student activities including sports clubs and societies.
With classroom spaces and a multi-purpose sports hall, the spaces meet students' needs and also provide an ideal venue for events.
The facility also hosts intra-mural and DMUactive recreational sports opportunities.

The building is predominantly used to aid participation in sports and activities as a social and well-being space, provide training space for the DMU competitive sports teams who participate in British University College Sport and local leagues.
