Our programme of classes is designed to offer a wide variety of sessions to suit most users in a social setting. All classes must be booked in advance and can be done via our app, (Search DMU Leisure on your device store) or through our online booking system. We are actively helping the university in reducing its carbon footprint by minimalizing the amount of printing we do, therefore timetables are only viewable online.

Non-members are only able to book 24 hours in advance of classes.

Gold and Silver members can book classes according to their membership product.

If you're unfamiliar with any of our classes, you can read a brief descriptions of each class before you book.

We really don’t want to turn you away, so please make sure you arrive at least 5-10 minutes before your class starts. For your safety, if you miss all or part of the warm-up you put yourself at higher risk of injury and as well as this arriving late disrupts the class for both instructors and other members. Set your alarm a little earlier to make sure you're on time.

Non-attendance fees

Due to limited spaces available for bookings there is a £4 charge for non-attendance for a booking without cancelling.

To confirm attendance you must swipe your access card or band at reception and allow turnstiles to open for you. You also need to use your card or band on your activity area (gym, pool, class studio). Failure to swipe your band will not register your attendance.

Cancelling a booking can be done as easy as making it, in the DMU Leisure app, by phone on 0116 250 6400 or by email at If you cancel by phone, please leave a voicemail confirming your name and booking time.
