Undergraduate tuition fees

Undergraduate students can borrow 100 per cent of their course fees with the tuition fee loan, which is only repaid after graduation and is linked to graduate salaries. Once you leave your course, you’ll only repay when your income is above the repayment threshold. The current UK threshold is £26,575 a year, £2,214 a month, or £511 a week.

Full-time UK students

For 2021/22 entry, our proposed undergraduate tuition fees for full-time UK students are:

  • BA/BSc/MPharm/MDes degree: £9,250 per year
  • Foundation degree and HND: £6,165 to £9,250 per year

Part-time UK students

For 2021/22 entry, our proposed undergraduate part-time tuition fees for UK students tuition fees are:

  • Four-year course: £5,950 per year
  • Six-year course: £3,950 per year
  • For 15 credits: £988 per year
  • Placement year: £650 per year

Remember, your tuition fees don't have to be paid up front. A tuition fee loan, up to £9,250 a year, will be available to students to cover tuition fee costs.

EU students

In line with the government announcement, EU, other EEA and Swiss nationals will no longer be eligible for home fee status, undergraduate, postgraduate and advanced learner financial support from Student Finance England for courses starting in academic year 2021/22.

Students from the EU who join DMU from September 2021 will now be subject to international fees; however, DMU recognises the challenges this brings for our prospective EU students, and therefore for eligible undergraduate EU students commencing their course in the academic year 2021/22 a fee reduction scholarship will be applied to bring EU student fees in line with the fees paid by UK students for the duration of the course, as a transitional arrangement.

Changes to EU student fee status will not affect EU, other EEA and Swiss nationals benefiting from Citizens’ Rights under the EU Withdrawal Agreement, EEA EFTA Separation Agreement or Swiss Citizens’ Rights Agreement respectively.

Please check our terms and conditions and eligibility criteria prior to applying.

International (non-EU) students

For 2021/22 undergraduate international students tuition fees will range from £14,250 to £14,750. Please check our international tuition fees page for more information, or see individual course pages for course-by-course details.
