Student contract

De Montfort University (DMU) is a dynamic, complex community with a commitment to public good, academic excellence and a global vision. As such, we benefit from rules, regulations, policies and codes of conduct to support us all in our various activities.

The student contract is a key part of the support; it sets out the terms and conditions of the contractual relationship between DMU and undergraduate students on our programmes of study.

By accepting your offer of a place with us (subject to any conditions being satisfied), the student contract is formed between you and DMU. It is based on details set out in your offer letter, and the terms and conditions in the student contract in place for your year of enrolment.

You should carefully read the student contract prior to accepting your offer to ensure you understand all the terms and conditions.

Whilst we recommend you save a copy for future reference, a copy of the relevant student contract, and incorporated policies, regulations, etc., will be available here throughout the standard term of your studies.

Accessibility

If you would like a hard copy of the student contract, or a copy in another format, please complete the form. A hard copy of this form will also be sent with your offer letter.
