On the edge of campus, close to a large supermarket and our QEII Leisure Centre, New Wharf Hall is owned and managed by De Montfort University.
Its flats have four, seven or 10 bedrooms, with each including a shared bathroom (two toilets and two showers per flat, 1 toilet and shower in 4 bedroom flat). Allocated car parking spaces for students with a disability are also available.

Internet broadband is provided by Glide (upgrades to the basic package are available).

Contract length
A standard contract at New Wharf Hall lasts for 41 weeks and one day, running from Friday 25 September 2020 to Saturday 10 July. Early arrivals cannot be accommodated due to the refurbishment programme.
Rent and costs
Rent: £110 per week (includes utility bills, broadband and contents insurance)
- Standard total is £4,525.71
No guarantor required.

Option 1: one instalment
There is a five per cent discount if the full contract fee is paid by 21 October 2020.
Option 2: three instalments

This is a DMU-managed hall and payments are on more flexible terms than those offered by some private providers. You will be able to use your student loan to pay your rent, as instalments are due after you have received it.
There are no payment surcharges. We operate an online payment system. Payments can also be made by cash, cheque, credit or debit card, banker’s draft and bank transfer.
