New Wharf Hall
Total number of bedrooms in hall: 215
On the edge of campus, close to a large supermarket and our QEII Leisure Centre, New Wharf Hall is owned and managed by De Montfort University.
The hall recently underwent an extensive refurbishment, which was completed in 2020.

Flats have four, seven or 10 bedrooms, with each including a shared bathroom (two toilets and two showers per flat, 1 toilet and shower in a four-bedroom flat). Allocated car parking spaces are also available for those students who have a Blue Badge permit, or who are registered on a 'NHS' course (Midwifery, Nursing, Paramedicine, Associated Ambulance Practice).

Communal areas of flats, including toilets and showers, are cleaned by Halls staff, and residents have access to coinless laundry facilities (£2.30 per wash, £1.80 per dry*) which are operated by Circuit.

NHS Student Residence Parking
'NHS' students (Midwifery, Nursing, Paramedicine, Associated Ambulance Practice) staying at Bede and New Wharf have the opportunity to apply for a resident’s parking permit.
There are only a limited number available and, as such, are granted on a first-come-first-served basis.
- The permit will cost £717.50
- The permit is valid for the duration of your accommodation contract
- Application is made via the online booking system once you have confirmed your accommodation booking
