Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) statement
Your Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) statement contains your unique CAS reference number, information about your course of study and your personal details.
You will need to provide your CAS statement when you apply for your student visa.
When we will issue your CAS?
Depending on the course you are studying, we will issue your CAS:
Pre-sessional English language courses
Once you have accepted our offer and paid your tuition fees in full.
If you successfully complete your English language course, you can be issued with a new CAS by DMU's Admissions team to cover your next course at DMU and you should be able to apply online to extend your Student visa with the UKVI.
Undergraduate or postgraduate courses
When you have accepted an unconditional offer from DMU and you have paid the required amount of your tuition fees. For a breakdown of fees required to be paid, please see the following DMU page for international tuition fees here
If you are studying a course with English language study combined, you will need to have achieved at least level B2 of the Common European Framework for Languages (CEFR) in each component of an English language test approved by UK Visas and Immigration (see the UKVI list for details). For example, 5.5 in each component of the IELTS test.
For a combined course, we will issue one CAS and your unconditional offer will have an earlier start date to allow you to attend English classes before joining your main academic course.
