Your airport pickup

Thank you for booking a place on our airport pick-up service. 

We will send you a final email the week before your flight with full details about your pickup, including a contact phone number for the Welcome team.

In the meantime, please contact us if you have any questions at arrivals@dmu.ac.uk.

    Meeting you at the airport

    A DMU Welcome team will meet you at the Meeting Point in the Arrivals area in Terminal 3. If your flight is scheduled to land at a different terminal you will need to travel to Terminal 3 (free transfers are available). For more information, see the Heathrow Airport website.

    Please note that in order to pick you up from the airport we may need to share your arrival details with a transport partner (such as a bus or taxi company).

    Luggage allowance

    There will be a limited amount of luggage storage on the coach and we want to make sure that there is room for everyone's bags.

    You are welcome to bring:

    • medium-sized suitcases (maximum size 80cm x 35cm x 40cm per bag), plus -
    • piece of cabin luggage (hand baggage)

    If you want to bring more luggage than this, you will need to make your own travel arrangements.

    Accommodation

    Please make sure that you have accommodation arranged and that you can access your room when you arrive in Leicester. If you can't enter your accommodation when you arrive, you may need to pay to stay in a hotel for your first night.

    Accessibility

    If you have declared a disability and need a bus with wheelchair access, please contact us about this by email at arrivals@dmu.ac.uk as soon as possible - and not later than Friday 8 July - so that we can arrange this for you.
