Airport pickups

Our airport pickup service operates from London Heathrow Airport (LHR) on selected dates to coincide with welcome and induction in September and in February.

Currently we are offering the following pick-up date from London Heathrow Airport:

Friday 5 February - this pickup is suitable for students joining Postgraduate courses starting in February. We can accept bookings from students whose flights are scheduled to arrive up to 15:00 on 5 February. If your flight is scheduled to arrive after this time, please contact us at arrivals@dmu.ac.uk so that we can discuss your arrival with you.

Online bookings for this pickup will close on Friday 29 January or when all the places are booked. When you make your booking, you will be asked to confirm that you understand and accept the terms and conditions of the service.

Luggage allowance - There will be limited luggage space on the pickup service and for practical reasons we operate a luggage policy. You are welcome to bring two checked-in bags (maximum size of each 75cm x 50cm x 32cm) as well as hand luggage (cabin baggage).

After receiving your booking we will email you within one working day, with confirmation of your booking. If you do not see our email, please add arrivals@dmu.ac.uk to your email address book and check your email junk folder.

We will contact you if we have any questions about your booking. Final joining information will be sent to you a week before the date of the pickup. There will be an induction programme that starts on Monday 8th February; you can sign up for further updates and information about this.
