International students at De Montfort University Leicester (DMU) can get a feel for Leicester with a free welcome event at the Town Hall on Tuesday 24 October 2023 at 3pm.
The Lord Mayor of Leicester, Councillor Dr Susan Barton, is inviting international students to a welcome reception which will include a tour of the Council Chamber and refreshments.
Town Hall has played a big part in the history of Leicester and the event will give international students a chance to settle in and find out more about the city. This will also be an opportunity to meet other new students.
How can I book a place?
The event is free but students are required to pay a £5 deposit which will be refunded after the event. You can book up to two places through the DMU online store.
Due to the capacity of the venue, there will be a limited number of places available.
Can I cancel my place?
If you can no longer make the event, please email iss@dmu.ac.uk by 9am on Monday 23 October 2023 to cancel your place. If not, your deposit will be non-refundable.
