We’re inviting students to get more involved in the climate-change debate and the Sustainable Development Goals as part of DMU’s programme of events to mark the COP28 conference in Dubai.

DMU will showcase a range of volunteering and sustainability projects in the UNAI SDG Impact Hub, on Tuesday 5 December, to demonstrate the work being carried out across the university.

In a simulation of the COP28 event, all the projects will have their own showcase pavilion and you will be introduced to the projects and shown how you can get involved.

If you register for the event and attend, you can enter the prize draw to win a love2shop voucher. There are three vouchers available to win: 2 x £25 and 1 x £50.

Sign up for one of the volunteering opportunities at the showcase and your name will be entered into the prize draw a second time to increase your chances of winning.

Come and hear about how to use football to help achieve net zero, sustainability at DMU, and how you can help improve the narrative around refugees and maybe win a prize!

Project Showcase: COP28 Simulation | Tuesday 5 December, 5–7pm

Where: UNAI SDG Impact Hub | Heritage House room 2.05

Email: dmusdg16@dmu.ac.uk to register your interest in the event and for further information.
