Due to essential building works required in Portland Building, the Brothers’ Prayer Room will be closed from Monday 16 August to Friday 24 September 2021. Prayer will be relocated to the Breathing Space (Room 00.12) during this time where the capacity will be for 13 people to pray at any one time between 10am and 2pm.
On Fridays between these dates building work will pause and the Brothers Prayer Room will temporary re-open as usual.
The Sisters’ prayer room, Chapel and other rooms in this area will not be affected.
When entering DMU prayer spaces please check-in via Safe Trace and continue to use hand sanitiser and keep your shoes with you in a bag.
If you are a member of staff working on campus and are unable to pray between 10-2, you may want to discuss with your line manager whether it is feasible within the business needs of DMU, to allow time for you to visit other local faith centres.
