This year will see the sixth annual DMU Pride celebrations take place here at DMU, with a jam-packed month of events taking place on campus and across the city to celebrate LGBTQ+ history.
This year's highlights include Ru Paul's Drag Race star Vinegar Strokes who will be performing live at the Students' Union, Sunday Times bestselling author and activist Jack Monroe and BBC's TV and radio personality Richie Anderson.
Students and staff will also have the chance to get involved in free sport sessions with DMUactive, and head along to uplifting stories on stage and screen at Curve theatre and Phoenix Cinema.
The Kimberlin Library will be running a variety of different daytime activities, including poetry sessions and badge making workshops, OpenFaith and mental health drop-ins during February and the DMUactive recreational sports and fitness programme will be celebrating DMU Pride by encouraging everyone to wear colourful clothing throughout the month.
