From Monday 4 – Thursday 7 February DMU is celebrating the United Nations (UN) Interfaith Harmony Week with a series of #HealthyDMU and Open Faith events.
The week will allow students and staff to learn about a variety of different faiths as well as how spiritual practices can enhance wellbeing.
As part of the weeks’ events there will be the opportunity to take part in #DMUactive sport sessions, Brahma Kumari Meditation as well as giving Taiko Drumming a go.
DMU is committed in supporting the UN’s 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and as a hub for SDG 16, peace, justice and strong institutions, the events allow staff and students at the university to learn about one another and celebrate the diverse communities here on campus.
