Leicester's Future Leaders
Business Engagement
Leicester’s Future Leaders is DMU’s ground-breaking project, supported by the Office for Students, that aims to increase the progression of Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic graduates into high skilled graduate jobs in Leicester.
Our vision is to make Leicester a city that offers students many more BAME role models to support their entry to graduate work, wellbeing and upward journey through their career.
Leicester’s Future Leaders runs events that bring BAME students and Leicester businesses together to discuss and debate diversity issues, increase knowledge and understanding and bring about permanent change in Leicester society.
These events have generated exclusive opportunities for students to boost their experience and connections through internships, projects and consultancy work offered by participating businesses.
