With award-winning careers support, guaranteed work experience, placement years, internships and live industry projects, DMU equips you with the skills, confidence and connections to succeed - from day one and beyond graduation.

Guaranteed accommodation

Finding somewhere to live is an important part of your university journey, and you’ll want to choose somewhere that is safe, close to campus and has all the amenities to feel like home.

Block teaching

This distinctive method means you'll focus on one subject at a time for deeper learning and better results.

We are one of only a few universities in the country where you’ll benefit from this approach. With regular assessments and feedback, rather than lots of exams all at once, you’ll have a better study-life balance so you can enjoy student life and get to know your tutors and course mates.

Join a university that’s moved up 20 places in the UK university rankings*

One of the biggest rises this year. That means you can look forward to an even better student experience, with block teaching designed to support how you learn and stronger career prospects when you graduate. *Daily Mail University Guide 2027
