Faculty Academic Committee (FAC)
The FAC reports to AQC on the quality and standards of the faculty’s undergraduate and postgraduate taught provision (and the Research Degrees Committee (RDC) in relation to research degrees students). The FAC remit includes academic direction, strategy and policy; academic quality processes; and academic planning etc. A FAC annual task list is being developed to provide guidance on the routine consideration of items by the FAC.

The FLTC reports to the FAC on the ways in which the faculty is implementing university decisions regarding learning and teaching. The chair of the FLTC sits on the ULTC and the FAC and is also usually a member of their faculty executive.
Programme Management Board (PMB)
The PMB reports to the FAC on the development, planning, design and implementation of the academic subject; learning, teaching and assessment strategies; and quality assurance/assessment processes. It manages the relationships with relevant partner institutions, external examiners and students. A PMB checklist is being developed to ensure boards fulfil their management responsibilities.
