MyDMU gets a makeover: personalised tiles and customisable dashboards

MyDMU-new-update-main

New improvements are coming this month to the MyDMU platform, including personalised tiles based on your study level, a cleaner interface and customisation features to better serve your needs as a student.

What’s new?

  • Personalised tiles: You will now have a more tailored view of the tiles based on your specific study level: undergraduate, postgraduate, international or PhD. This means you will only see the tiles that are relevant to you.
  • Decluttered interface: Say goodbye to unnecessary clutter! With personalised tiles, your dashboard will be cleaner and more focused on what’s important for you.
  • Customisation: Want to add or remove specific tiles? No problem! You will have the flexibility to customise your dashboard by choosing the tiles that best suit your needs.

How does it work?

  1. Log in to MyDMU
  2. Click on the Arrange icon at the top left of the page
  3. You will see an ‘X’ appear on the tiles that you can hide. In the Search function you can look for the tiles you would like to add. You’ll still be able to arrange the position of the tiles, as you could before
  4. You can also click on the List View to add or remove tiles more quickly
  5. Once have completed your new look, click Done at the top right of the page.

We’ve also created an FAQ page with more information about these changes and contact details if you have any other questions or feedback.

Why the change?

We understand that each student’s experience is unique and we want to make sure that MyDMU serves you effectively. By streamlining the tiles, we’re aiming to enhance its usability and make it a more intuitive platform.

Time2Eat

This update also adds a quick-access tile for Time2Eat, which you can use to get deliveries from the DMU campus food and drink outlets to a range of campus locations and student halls.

We hope you enjoy the improved MyDMU experience!
