De Montfort University (DMU) is located in Leicester, which is a very multicultural city with a lot of historical heritage and has a large Chinese population. The city is affordable, convenient and safe for all students, with close transport links to all major cities in the UK, including London which is just over an hour away by train. As the university is based in the heart of the city, it is only a short walk to all local necessities such as shops, sports, music, theatre, film, comedy and culture.
We offer more than 300 courses at undergraduate and postgraduate level within the fields of architecture, accounting, law, fashion, management, pharmacy, science, engineering and computer science, many of which offer professional accreditations, links to industry and work placements. Each year more than 2,700 international students from more than 130 countries choose to study with us.
We offer a range of international scholarships for students to support your studies and we also have a number of student societies and clubs such as the ABACUS (Association of British and Chinese University students) Society and the Chinese Students and Scholars Association (CSSA) Society to support our international students.
We work with a number of partner representatives in your country, including reps located in Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou, who can help you with your application, the offer process and answer any questions you have about studying and living in the UK.
