De Montfort University (DMU) is located in Leicester, which is a very multicultural city with a lot of historical heritage and has a large Chinese population. The city is affordable, convenient and safe for all students, with close transport links to all major cities in the UK, including London which is just over an hour away by train. As the university is based in the heart of the city, it is only a short walk to all local necessities such as shops, sports, music, theatre, film, comedy and culture.
