Important information about your results

Results for undergraduate and postgraduate taught students on standard intake programmes will be released on a staggered basis from Monday 12 to Thursday 15 July. Please see below for details of when your faculty will release results:

  • ADH from 2pm on Monday 12 July

Your Faculty will inform you separately if your results are going to be released on a different day for your programme of study.

You will access your results (including guidance on what these mean for you, and what you need to do next) using the My Results tile on your MyDMU dashboard. Guidance on using the tile is available here. You can also take a look at information on our safety net policy here.

If you have any questions about your results, please contact your Faculty Student Advice Centre. If you are struggling to access the tile, please contact the ITMS Service Desk.

Graduations

We are delighted to announce the return of DMU graduations for our final year students! We are now finalising the details of our ceremonies and can look forward to their return where our students will experience a unique and unforgettable day of graduation celebration at the Curve Theatre. Ceremonies will take place week commencing Monday 15 November 2021 through to Saturday 20 November.

These ceremonies will be for students who would usually be graduating in July 2021, that is, those who have successfully passed their course since 1 December 2020 and received their results by 15 July 2021. For students who have not passed their course by 15 July 2021 due to resits or deferrals, you will be invited to your graduation ceremony in January 2022 and we will release more information about this very soon. For more information on this announcement you can read the full statement on Graduations here.

Your Degree Certificate

Due to the delay in your graduation ceremonies, all certificates will be posted to the permanent address held on your student record. You must therefore make sure this record is up-to-date by checking your My Personal Details tile via MyDMU.

In order to keep our staff safe, we have adapted our working environment and this will regrettably extend our usual service levels to students as we are working with reduced staff capacity and everything is taking longer. We aim to produce and post degree certificates from mid-September for those students receiving their results in July. We ask that you bear with us and thank you for your patience during this time but please do make sure your permanent address is correct.

Your Higher Education Achievement Report

For those students receiving their final award outcome, your Higher Education Achievement Report (HEAR) will be available to view and share from Monday 26 July. The interim HEAR for progressing students will also be available from this date.

The HEAR is our official academic transcript of your results along with your degree certificate. It’s an excellent way to showcase your employability as it captures the individual modules you have completed, prizes or awards you received and relevant activities you've done while at DMU. It also includes a simple summary of any official club or society positions held. Watch our video for more.

Eligible students will get an email saying that a new document is available from DMU in Digitary. Click on the link in the email and follow the instructions to see your report.
