DMU Music are pleased to announce that DMU Taiko will resume outdoor weekly workshops from Wednesday 21 April. Open to all students and staff, DMU Taiko will run from 5pm – 6pm, outside the Food Village every Wednesday evening until the end of the summer term.
Taiko drumming is an ancient Japanese Art form that’s highly accessible and easy to pick up. It makes for a great physical exercise as well as mental relaxation, through focussing on the rhythm of the drums.
Workshops are free to attend and are led by the specialist team from Bullfrog Arts.
